Care for Seniors
As we get older, our bodies tend to begin showing signs of the continued stress of life, creating a higher risk for decreased mobility, injury, and disease. Older adults are more susceptible to degenerative conditions, including spinal degeneration. To maintain a higher quality of life as we age, it is crucial to take care of the spine. The spine and nervous system control and coordinate EVERYTHING that the body does. Keeping a healthy spine with chiropractic care improves mobility, strength, balance and body functions.
While chiropractic care has been shown to provide numerous benefits for people of all ages, seniors may improve their quality of life through consistent visits to a chiropractor.
Medicare: Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers some adjustments of the spine by a chiropractor to correct vertebral subluxations. Medicare does not cover other services or tests a chiropractor orders, including physical examination, X-rays, and maintenance services as defined in their Local Coverage Determination. We will work with you and your insurance so that you may receive all the necessary care.
